Venue logic
Transit & venue notes
One of the easiest big-venue getaways in Seoul, thanks to both Line 5 and Line 9. The catch is the walk through the park, which adds up after a sold-out night.
Best default route

- Olympic Park Station (Seoul Subway Lines 5 & 9), Exit 3
- Secondary
- Mongchontoseong Station (Line 8) on the opposite side of the park

- About 10–15 minutes through Olympic Park from Olympic Park Station Exit 3
Typical approaches
- Gangnam / COEX -> Line 9 express -> Olympic Park
- Myeongdong / Hongik Univ -> Line 2 -> transfer to Line 8 (Jamsil) -> Mongchontoseong
- Jamsil -> single short taxi or Line 8 one-stop logic
- ICN -> AREX + Line 9 transfer, or airport bus toward Jamsil + taxi
Venue tips
- From the Gangnam side, take Line 9. It beats transferring onto Line 5 from the north.
- The arena sits deep inside Olympic Park, so budget 10–15 minutes of walking on top of the train ride.
- Mongchontoseong (Line 8) is the smart back exit when Olympic Park Station bottlenecks.
Getting back after the show
- Split the crowd: fans on Line 9 should walk to Olympic Park Station, Line 8 users should head out via Mongchontoseong.
- Taxi apps surge hard right at the gates; walking two blocks out of the park first usually beats waiting.
- Lean on the last Line 9 trains. If you're staying west, check the final departure before the encore.

Use Naver Map or KakaoMap
Google Maps can't do walking or transit directions in Korea. Download Naver Map or KakaoMap; both have English and accurate subway timing.
Grab a T-money card
Buy one at any convenience store (CU, GS25), top it up with cash, and tap onto every subway and bus. It also gives cheap transfers.
Get an eSIM or pocket WiFi
Pick one up at the airport or buy an eSIM before you fly. You'll need data for maps, translation, and booking on the go. The usual pick: SKT unlimited eSIM on Klook ↗
Mind the last train
The subway runs roughly 05:30–24:00. If the show ends late, plan the last train or use the Kakao T app to call a taxi.
Cards work, but carry some cash
Korea is card-friendly, but street-food stalls and traditional markets often want cash. Use ATMs marked 'Global' for foreign cards.
Papago beats Google Translate
For Korean, the Papago app translates menus and signs far better. Many restaurants also have photo menus or tablets with English.

A big riverside park where Seoul families spend their weekends. There's a deer paddock and long walking paths, and the Seongsu cafe district is right next door. Easy to reach from Jamsil and KSPO stays.

Bongeunsa Temple
A working temple sitting right across from COEX in Gangnam, free to wander, with a giant Maitreya Buddha statue. An easy calm hour between the malls, and a good pairing with a Gangnam or COEX stay.

A big aquarium and the two-storey Starfield Library that fills everyone's feed, both tucked inside the COEX mall. Good for a hot or rainy afternoon.

Lotte World Adventure
The giant indoor-outdoor theme park at Jamsil, connected straight to the station. It is right on the Jamsil stay area, so it is an easy daytime add before a KSPO Dome or Jamsil show.

A famous Seoul name for grilled pork ribs and clean-broth Pyongyang cold noodles; a step up if you want a proper sit-down meal near the venue.
Beef omakase done simply at a fair price, so you get the grilled-to-order experience without the splurge.
