&TEAM close out BLAZE THE WAY where the tour has been heading all year, their first Seoul dome nights, announced from the stage at the Incheon encore in July. Their second Korean mini album Mark on Me lands September 8, so expect some of it live.

What we ruled out
October 3 is Gaecheonjeol, a public holiday landing on a Saturday, so this is not a normal concert night. The whole country is travelling and the hotels near the dome were gone before the tickets were. What we checked and ruled out: Seoul Olympic Parktel, the hotel inside Olympic Park itself, is sold out for the 3rd. Delight Hotel Jamsil and Jamsil Stay 509 both return no availability for the run, and that is real rather than a booking window that has not opened, because the same Jamsil Stay 509 sells rooms at about $76 a night if you ask it for a weekend next week. H Avenue Kondae, the cheap Konkuk room we normally send people to for this venue, has nothing on either night and will only sell you a two-night stay if you change rooms in the middle of it. Dongdaemun is empty too. That is why the pick above is in Jongno instead. It is further out on the map and cheaper than anything the venue-side search returns, because on a holiday weekend the useful question is not what is near the dome, it is what is on the dome's line and still has rooms. If you are reading this in August, book it now. Nothing about this weekend gets easier in September.

Venue logic
Transit & venue notes
One of the easiest big-venue getaways in Seoul, thanks to both Line 5 and Line 9. The catch is the walk through the park, which adds up after a sold-out night.

Typical approaches
- Gangnam / COEX -> Line 9 express -> Olympic Park
- Myeongdong / Hongik Univ -> Line 2 -> transfer to Line 8 (Jamsil) -> Mongchontoseong
- Jamsil -> single short taxi or Line 8 one-stop logic
- ICN -> AREX + Line 9 transfer, or airport bus toward Jamsil + taxi
Venue tips
- From the Gangnam side, take Line 9. It beats transferring onto Line 5 from the north.
- The arena sits deep inside Olympic Park, so budget 10–15 minutes of walking on top of the train ride.
- Mongchontoseong (Line 8) is the smart back exit when Olympic Park Station bottlenecks.
Getting back after the show
- Split the crowd: fans on Line 9 should walk to Olympic Park Station, Line 8 users should head out via Mongchontoseong.
- Taxi apps surge hard right at the gates; walking two blocks out of the park first usually beats waiting.
- Weekends and holidays are where this station catches people out, because the board still looks busy after the trains you actually want have gone. The final Line 5 departure is 23:49 and it terminates at Gunja, still out in the east and four stops short of Wangsimni. The last one that reaches Gwanghwamun, Jongno 3-ga and Dongdaemun History and Culture Park is 23:24. For Yeouido and Mapo it is 23:03, and for the Gimpo Airport end of Line 5 it is 22:41.
- Line 9 hides the same trick. Its last weekend departure is 23:51 and it stops at Samjeon, five stops out and short of even Sports Complex. Gangnam closes at 23:36, Express Bus Terminal at 23:28 and Gimpo Airport at 23:17. That last one matters if you are sleeping near the airport, because Line 9 buys you a little over half an hour against Line 5 for the same trip.
- A weekday show is about an hour more forgiving. Line 5 still reaches central Seoul and Yeouido at 00:01, and the 00:38 that follows it only runs as far as Wangsimni. Line 9 reaches Gangnam at 00:38 and Gimpo Airport at 00:16.
- Staying in Jamsil changes the answer. Walk the park to Mongchontoseong and take Line 8 toward Garak Market: it runs until 23:49 on a weekend and 00:52 on a weekday, and that platform is far emptier than the Line 5 and 9 gates.

Use Naver Map or KakaoMap
Google Maps can't do walking or transit directions in Korea. Download Naver Map or KakaoMap; both have English and accurate subway timing.

Get an eSIM or pocket WiFi

Mind the last train
The subway runs roughly 05:30–24:00. If the show ends late, plan the last train or use the Kakao T app to call a taxi.
Cards work, but carry some cash
Korea is card-friendly, but street-food stalls and traditional markets often want cash. Use ATMs marked 'Global' for foreign cards.
Papago beats Google Translate
For Korean, the Papago app translates menus and signs far better. Many restaurants also have photo menus or tablets with English.

Seoul's busiest shopping and street-food strip. Stock up on cosmetics, eat your way down the middle, then ride the cable car up to N Seoul Tower.

Changdeokgung Palace & Secret Garden
The UNESCO-listed palace, quieter and more wooded than Gyeongbokgung. The Secret Garden out back is the highlight, but it is a separate timed ticket with limited spots, so reserve before you go rather than hoping at the gate.
