Since GTX-A opened, KINTEX is far easier than it used to be: a central-Seoul hotel is genuinely fine here, unlike the nearby Goyang Stadium.
Practical notes for getting in and out without turning the night into a transit puzzle.
The pinch is the walk out of the exhibition complex, not the trains. The halls are large, so give yourself 10-15 minutes to reach GTX-A Kintex Station or the Line 3 stops.
GTX-A is the move home: it runs to Seoul Station in about 16 minutes and later than Line 3, so a central-Seoul hotel works fine for this venue. Tap in with a card that supports GTX (it costs more than the subway).
Going cheaper on Line 3? Daehwa and Juyeop are a 12-15 minute walk, but the last Line 3 toward Seoul is roughly 23:00, so do not dawdle if the show runs long.
A Kakao T concert shuttle is usually set up for these shows; book it in advance if you want a direct ride back rather than the walk plus transfer. Taxis queue hard right after, so walk a block out to hail one.
Juyeop and Daehwa on Line 3 have station lockers a short walk from the hall, and KINTEX often runs a cloakroom during big events. The nearest bookable Bounce shop is back toward Gimpo, so most fans use a station locker or store near their Seoul stay.

A five-minute setup that makes the whole trip smoother, especially if you don't read Korean.
Google Maps can't do walking or transit directions in Korea. Download Naver Map or KakaoMap; both have English and accurate subway timing.
Buy one at any convenience store (CU, GS25), top it up with cash, and tap onto every subway and bus. It also gives cheap transfers.
Pick one up at the airport or buy an eSIM before you fly. You'll need data for maps, translation, and booking on the go.
The subway runs roughly 05:30β24:00. If the show ends late, plan the last train or use the Kakao T app to call a taxi.
Korea is card-friendly, but street-food stalls and traditional markets often want cash. Use ATMs marked 'Global' for foreign cards.
For Korean, the Papago app translates menus and signs far better. Many restaurants also have photo menus or tablets with English.
Major Korea attractions within reach of the venue, with prices, booking rules, and nearby food.
One of Asia's largest man-made lakes, a flat loop for walking or a rented bike, right by the Lafesta food strip. An easy free stop if you are staying near KINTEX for a show.
A giant Shinsegae mall that Koreans treat as a day out, with an indoor Aquafield spa and a big food hall on top of the shopping. An easy rain-or-shine stop before a Goyang Stadium show.
